Because a little snow never scared me, last night I went to my friend Liz’s house to visit her while we’re both in town. (Liz lives in Chicago.) It really wasn’t that serious of a situation to be out driving, because I didn’t have far to go and I certainly wasn’t going to get stranded on the roads. I did, however, have a bit of a challenge getting home.
When I left her house a little before midnight, the snow had been coming down for hours and had really piled up. Liz, her mom and I went out to do a little shoveling of the driveway so that I wouldn’t get stuck. We cleared enough snow so that I could get out of the driveway, but I had a bit of a hang up once I got onto the street. Stuck.
No worries! Liz’s dad came out with the snow blower and cleared a path so that I could get off the side street they live on and onto the main road. Thanks, Steve!

Haha--I love the pic! Thanks for braving the weather and coming over! We are glad you made it home safely! How were the other roads? Hopefully they were better!
