It's Done!

And with time to spare! About a month ago I took on the project of making a baby quilt for my colleague Keri who is expecting a girl on June 5. I think the quilt turned out pretty well. Keri is not a big fan of pink or real girlie things, so I had to keep that in mind when making it. It’s definitely a quilt for a girl but it doesn’t have an overload of pink in it. I also didn’t want to put cutesy animals or cartoon figures on it, which I’m not into either. The quilt is 50 x 50 inches and is machine pieced but hand quilted. Now we just need a baby for that quilt!

By the way, I’m still not sure if Keri trusts me to babysit, but I have volunteered multiple times. I’m actually better with children than you might think. I mean, when the kid starts crying, you can always put it outside so that it doesn’t bother you. Kidding! I’m just kidding! I would never do that. Unless??? No. Never mind. I still wouldn’t do it.

  1. Beautiful quilt, Ang! Patti Quinn would be proud:) And for the record, I would trust you to babysit George anytime. In fact, we really need someone May 30th. Interested? :)
