While in Chicago, I ate at the restaurant of one of my favorite chefs, Rick Bayless. Rick is currently competing on Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” and is doing very well. Yea! I can’t wait to see if he wins.
My colleague and I ate at his restaurant Frontera Grill on Thursday night and loved it. I highly recommend ordering something with his mole sauce. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.
Rick also made an appearance at Blogher. He was there on behalf of the National Pork Board and I made sure to stop by to see his cooking demo. The mango salsa he put on the pork loin was excellent. Now if only I could recreate that…
Yep, pretty sure that’s never happening.
