So I know it’s been awhile since I last posted, but I have been very busy lately. Or I think a more truthful explanation is that my life has been pretty boring and I haven’t had anything interesting to report on. Until now!

Last Friday night I attended a book signing of one of my favorite writers, Jen Lancaster. She has a new book out called Pretty in Plaid: A Life, a Witch, and a Wardrobe, or, the Wonder Years Before the Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smart Ass Phase.

I cannot wait to read this book. Jen does a great job of putting her bitchy thoughts (which I share and can relate to well) in writing. I highly recommend her other books Bitter is the New Black, Bright Lights Big Ass, and Such a Pretty Fat, as well.
